Baked Honey Sriracha Salmon Bites Meal Prep

  • Author: Lara
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A quick and flavorful meal prep recipe featuring bite-sized salmon pieces baked in a sticky, spicy, and sweet honey-sriracha glaze. Designed for efficiency, this dish yields four solid meals that reheat well and freeze for up to three months.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs (900g) wild-caught Atlantic or Sockeye salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/3 cup (115g) honey
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a standard half-sheet baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and cut into uniform 1-inch cubes, removing any large bones.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, minced garlic, ground ginger, and sesame oil until smooth and glossy.
  4. Add salmon cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow flavors to penetrate.
  5. Spread coated salmon cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not touch.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. Watch closely to prevent drying out.
  7. Let salmon cool on the pan for 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
  8. Divide the salmon evenly among four meal prep containers. Add desired bases like jasmine rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.
  9. Seal containers tightly and refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes

Ensure salmon is patted dry before cutting to promote browning. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet to prevent steaming. Let salmon cool completely before sealing containers to avoid condensation and sogginess. For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari.
