Description
A thick, creamy, and indulgent milkshake that captures the flavors of autumn with fresh apples, rich caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream. Ready in just 5 minutes, this cozy fall drink is perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 medium apples (peeled and diced)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Chopped apples (for garnish)
- Sea salt (for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and dice the apples into small 1/2-inch cubes.
- Scoop 3 cups of vanilla ice cream into a blender.
- Add the whole milk, half of the caramel sauce, and ice (if using) to the blender.
- Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high, blending for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the shake and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more caramel or milk as needed.
- Pour the shake into tall glasses.
- Top with whipped cream, remaining caramel sauce, chopped apples, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.
Notes
For an extra-thick shake, freeze the diced apples for an hour before blending. Ensure ingredients are cold to prevent the shake from becoming watery. A pinch of sea salt enhances the flavor of the caramel and apples. This recipe is naturally gluten-free if using certified gluten-free caramel and ice cream.
